Waterproofing

WetSuit® is a high-performance, cold-applied fluid membrane used for waterproofing a wide variety of construction projects. It creates a seamless, fully adhered barrier that prevents water migration and can be used across vertical, horizontal, and highly specialized applications.
 

Key Advantages:
 

  • Eco-Friendly & Safe: It is entirely water-based with zero VOCs. Because it is cold-applied, it eliminates the fire hazards associated with torches and hot kettles.

  • Rapid Application: The two-component mixture sets in just 3 seconds, meaning it can be sprayed vertically to any thickness without sagging or running.

  • Durable & Weather-Resistant: It is completely UV stable (can be left exposed indefinitely) and remains flexible in extreme cold (down to -30°F).

  • Monolithic Seal: The product cures into a single, seamless, puncture-resistant layer that adheres to most existing surfaces, making it ideal for both new builds and restorations.
     

Primary Applications:
 

  • Horizontal & Submerged Surfaces: Unlike many membranes, WetSuit® does not require a slope to be effective. It withstands constant water contact and resists root punctures, making it an excellent lining for green roofs, fountains, ponds, and manufactured planter boxes.

  • Vertical Waterproofing: Can be applied below or above grade, and its instant-set nature allows work to continue even if light rain begins immediately after application.

  • Green Roofs: Offers a lightweight, root-resistant base that can be applied directly over older roofs to extend their life without requiring a full tear-off.

  • Asbestos Encapsulation: Safely seals and isolates aging asbestos roofs or pipes without the cost, downtime, or health risks of physically removing the material.

  • Blast Mitigation: Absorbs energy and helps structures retain their integrity during explosions, earthquakes, or ballistic impacts, minimizing dangerous flying debris.

  • Metal Protection: Acts as a Class 1 impermeable vapor barrier, preventing rust and "cut edge corrosion" on metallic roofs, pipes, and structures.

Air Vapor Barrier

Air Vapor Barriers are essential for protecting buildings from moisture and mold, but their permeability requirements vary drastically depending on the local climate. WetSuit® offers a versatile, all-in-one solution for the entire building envelope by allowing builders to easily adjust the membrane's thickness to achieve the exact moisture control needed for any environment, whether on the roof, in the walls, or below grade.
